Email James is an experienced corporate and investment banker with a proven track record of advising clients on the execution of complex financing and investment transactions. He has worked with clients across different sectors including financial institutions, private equity, investment funds, consumer goods, fintech, agriculture, healthcare, education, infrastructure, and energy.
James has served as the Head of Corporate Banking, Energy, and Trading at United Bank for Africa Kenya where he joined after serving in the Corporate Banking division of Standard Chartered Bank Kenya. He has also worked as an Audit Associate for KPMG LLP in Chicago. James holds a Masters in Accounting Science, an MBA in Finance, and a Bachelor of Commerce. He has also obtained his CPA Certification (IL, USA), completed Level I of the CFA® program, and holds a Diploma in Information Systems management from the Institute for the Management of Information Systems (UK).
